I liked the book (and movie) because it didn't just stop at Jesus' birth but told of why he came, what he did on Earth, and that he died for us. It's a more complete story of why we celebrate Christmas.

Our youngest is Autistic and has fallen in love with The King of Kings. I surprised him with the book. He can't read sentences but tells the story pointing to the pictures from what he knows of the movie.
Great colorful book for kids to learn about the King!
I bought it for my 7 & 8 year old grandchildren. I’m torn yet to introduce them to Christ on the cross at this age. I haven’t looked at the book as of yet, but will need to pray on it if there is a picture of Christ on cross before introducing it as a topic.
