The Sisters at our facility loved it. I am showing each episode on Fridays and they are waiting for the next Friday. For them, it has been very thought provoking. It has also given them a deeper taste for Acts of the Apostles.. I was grateful that on my limited budget I could buy this and present it to our Sisters.

The first season has me eagerly anticipating the next seasons. Such a great reimagining of the Acts of the Apostles in a modern setting. It really makes the stories and truths come alive in a fresh new way.
Wonderfully made and equally captivating. Even if you already know the stories, this series manages to keep you on the edge of your seat. 10/10 can't wait for season 2!
Testament is the best show I've seen in years! Every time I rewatch it (have watched it about 6 times now) I hear something/see something/understand something I haven't seen/heard/understood before. Testament is creative, incredibly well written and so incredibly thought provoking. Testament is proof that the living word of God CAN be converted into a decent TV show AND remain incredibly truthful and aligned with scripture. The music is simply mind blowing and the acting will leave you speechless. I'm so excited to now own season 1 and pray season 2 is on the way.

Another great show from Angel
I can't wait for the next season to come out I love this film and I plan on showing it to my entire Bible study group and any other ladies that I can get together to watch it it is the best film I've seen in a long time I mean I love the chosen but I really love this because no one has done the book of Acts and I just think it's amazing I'm waiting to find out when Saul turns to Paul it's going to be awesome I can't wait you got did it excellent job in the film I love it I love it I love the cast of characters everything it's amazing thank you so much and I look forward to like I said the next season.
Love this series! The writing, main character acting and music are especially good. Just wish more people knew about it, as I hope for several seasons to come!

Good modern depiction of the Book of Acts
I literally lit up like a child on christmas morning when It arrived.
I was having so much trouble understand what the characters were saying that I had to turn on subtitles, Thankfully that was an option and it is making more sense. Even though based on the Biblical record of the early church in the book of Acts of the Apostles, the more modern adaptation is hard to follow.
I was extremely disappointed in this series. First, I didn't know prior to purchase that the story setting was in current times. Second, the casting was terrible. The disciples of Jesus were predominantly Jewis. The discples in this series were made up of varying races and many had British accents. Third, the sound quality was not there. It was difficult to hear most of the dialog especially when actors had thick accents. Fourth, it seemed as though DEI was a major influence on this series as it inaccurately includes many biracial married couples. I understand the desire of the creators to make a series that appeals to modern viewers, but this was too far off of the matk. I was looking for an accurate depiction of the Acts of the Apostles and received a cheesy fictional drama that included storm trooper-like characters. The Chosen is phenomenal. This is not.
