Also provided is a Teacher's Companion to empower you to help your students appreciate this courageous woman of God. Created for Catholic Schools, these lessons dive into the life of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini, Catholic Social Teaching, and heroic virtue.
You can purchase the group licensing agreement to show the film at your school to accompany these lessons. In the Pre-Viewing lesson, students will:
- Learn about the life of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini. Learn that a vocation is a calling by God.
- Reflect on the reality that God gives everyone special gifts and talents and His grace to help us live out our vocations.
- Consider how the example of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini’s life demonstrates for us how to live lives of heroic virtue.
- Be prepared to watch the movie Cabrini produced by Angel Studios, to visualize the impact one woman had on our country and our world by putting into concrete action the love of Christ.
In the Post-Viewing lesson, students will:
- Learn that Catholic Social Teaching is an important part of moral theology, rooted in Jesus’ commands to love God and neighbor that outlines how we ought to build and live in a good and just human society.
- Contemplate how God calls us to use our gifts and talents to love our neighbor as ourselves and to build up the Kingdom of God in society.

Reflect on our responsibility to act with justice and charity towards others.
